SmartEar is a device designed for people who are deaf and hard of hearing. It translates sounds into colored flashes. SmartEar listens to sounds in the environment and associates them with colored flashes on the Avert'Flash device or a Smartphone. The Tap-Tap function allows a user to be “called” by tapping on the application or Avert’Flash device. Taps can be set to different colors so the user can identify who is “calling” them from out of sight. SmartEar can also be paired with door and window sensors so users are aware when doors and windows are opened in the home.

Technical Specifications: 

SmartEar can be controlled directly from a smartphone running on iOS or Android.

It is possible to choose the color of the flashing indicators, the number and intensity of indicators, as well as indicator duration.
