This Free Social Emotional Learning is a set of posters designed for children with sensory processing disorder to highlight critical SEL skills. This set includes 4 posters focusing on supporting students' social and emotional needs. They are good reminders for adults working on these skills with their students. Non-grade specific. Social emotional learning skills help kids and young adults learn how to manage their emotions, develop stronger relationships, understand their own strengths and weaknesses, develop empathy for others and learn to make positive choices. These skills are foundational for social and emotional well-being. With a greater emphasis on SEL skills in educational settings, this journal allows the user to weave these skills into their daily instruction as part of a morning meeting, morning circle, social group or morning work activity. This bundle includes 7 escape room activities with interactive challenges related to coping strategies, executive functioning skills, growth mindset, managing emotions and conflict resolution. Students work together in small groups to solve a variety of puzzles and challenges in order to discover the secret phrase to unlock the door and win the challenge in a specified amount of time. The first version is for small group scavenger hunts around the room while the second version allows you to have students work entirely at their desks in teams. Skills targeted include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationships and decision-making. Every day contains one prompt, so there are five prompts per week for a period of 35 weeks. This allows for 175 daily prompts for the entire year. This journal is specifically tailored for younger learners with writing prompts, activities and coloring. Three different versions are included to support growing writers: no lines, regular lines and primary lines.
