The sensory writing bags can help build a child’s confidence and writing skills, and can help the child learn how to write a their name independently, draw shapes, or numbers.

Technical Specifications: 

Step 1: Add the following to a large zip lock bag:

  • Shaving cream
    • (the more shaving cream one uses, the larger the zip lock bag will need to be)
    • Use 2 cups shaving cream for 30 centimeter x 20 centimeter bags
  • 2 tablespoons food coloring
  • Q-tip

Step 2: Seal the zip lock bag completely.

Step 3: Have the child very carefully start massaging the bag to spread the color so it mixes with the shaving cream.

Step 4: Start writing.
