Grid Pad Pro is designed for individuals with communication, speech, and cognitive disabilities associated with autism, developmental delays, developmental verbal dyspraxia, apraxia of speech and dysphasia (Aphasia), ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s Disease), cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, brain stem stroke, Huntington’s disease, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and traumatic brain injury.  Features include the following:  10.8 inch or 18 inch tablet computer running Windows 8 and The Grid AAC software, Grid software for communication and computer control, high quality amplification, and headphone socket for auditory scanning, switch input, radio switch input, shoulder strap, flip out feet for desk use, infrared environment control, radio environment control and mounting plate to work with Rehadapt or DaeSSY systems.
