Fonix 7000 Hearing Aid Test System (Models 7000 & 7000/p)

The Fonix 7000 Hearing Aid Test System, models 7000 and 7000/P, is a hearing aid acoustic test system designed for use by audiologists. This system provides basic and advanced measurements of hearing aids through coupler tests. Model 7000/P also supports three real-ear testing methods: Insertion Gain, SPL-o-gram, and Visible Speech. The system is available with automated ANSI, IEC, or JIS test sequences, or a combination of these. The ANSI version includes ANSI 87, ANSI 92, ANSI 96, and ANSI 03, allowing use of whichever ANSI standard is appropriate for the hearing aid being tested. The user can also build a custom test sequence by programming the source type and amplitude of up to 10 different coupler frequency response measurements. Three different custom test sequences can be stored for each user. The system also does DSP (delayed signal processing) and phase testing, and includes an open-fit coupler for testing open-fit hearing aids.
