The Oreck Pilot II is an upright vacuum cleaner designed for use by individuals with arthritis of the hands or other grasping or upper extremity disabilities. Its Helping Hand Handle makes it easier to push and pull the vacuum. A long power cord allows the user to vacuum large areas without changing outlets. The machine has 360-degree glide for steering and maneuverability over carpet and hard floors. The vacuum's low profile, soft top and sides, and bright twin LED headlights allow the user to get in and out of tight spots without scratching furniture. Side brushes aid in cleaning baseboards and edges. Dirt is drawn into a disposable bag by direct suction and a pile-lifting roller brush that moves through carpet rotating at over 5,600 revolutions per minute. As air passes through the HEPA inner bag, the bag captures at least 99.97 percent of particles at .3 microns , which includes pollen, house dust, smoke, animal danderand hair, and mold spores. Other features include 2 speed settings, an Endurolife Belt, and a commercial-grade baseplate. Five annual tune-ups are included. DIMENSIONS (HxWxD): 47 x 13.5 x 9.5 inches. The power cord is 35 feet long. WEIGHT: 10 pounds without power cord. WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty.
