Lymphedema Exercise Kit

The Lymphedema Exercise Kit is an exercise planning program designed for use by physical or occupational therapists who work with individuals with lymphedema or sub-acute persistent edema. The therapist can use this exercise database with PC-Kits software (not included) to design customized exercise plans. The lymphedema section has exercises for treating primary and secondary extremity, breast, trunk, and genital lymphedema. The Manual Edema Mobilization section is designed for use with sub-acute to chronic edema resulting from upper and lower extremity surgery, trauma, wounds, or post-stroke. The lymphedema section has 168 general exercises and 94 office exercises for every part of the body with and without bandages; 106 self-massage techniques; and 47 lymphedema tip sheets, including bandaging techniques and upper and lower extremity measuring guidelines. The manual edema mobilization section has over 100 mobilization exercises for upper and lower extremity; 24 pump point circle techniques (with and without caregiver assistance); 106 self-massage techniques (also found in Lymphedema section); 30 tip sheets (some found in the lymphedema section) with 6 pre-made routines; and 28 Kinesio Taping method tip sheets for trunk, upper/lower arm, and finger/thumb. All exercises are drawn in both male and female figures.
