Dream Series Standard Side Bed (Models 1200, 1700, 1900, 2200 & 2700)

The Dream Series Standard Side Bed, models 1000, 1500, 1800, 2000 and 2500, is an enclosed bed designed designed to prevent individuals with cognitive, emotional, or behavioral disabilities or autism from leaving the bed without the use of restraints. This bed features solid wood construction and an enclosure that extends 20 inches above the mattress (up to 30 inches when mattress is lowered on model 1900). It has a poly resin coated Bunkie board. There is a door on one side of the bed that locks on the outside and opens down. The door has acrylic panels to allow for visibility into or out of the bed. The Dream Series is available with a non-adjustable sleep surface (models 1000 and 2000); a fixed height, manually adjustable head surface (models 1500 and 2500); and an electric adjustable height and full articulation surface that adjusts at the head, foot and knees (model 1800) that is controlled with a corded wand control. The mattress for the fixed height models (1000, 1500, 2000 and 2500) is a fire retardant mattress with an anti-bacterial, water resistant and low shear cover with pressure reducing foam (twin and extended twin) or an innerspring (full). The adjustable height model (1800) includes a full foam, fire retardant mattress, 6 inches thick, with side reinforcement and a medical vinyl cover. The bed has casters. OPTIONS: Interior padding, IV pole, access port in headboard/footboard, storage drawers under the mattress, accent carvings for head, foot and doors, and others. SIZES: Models 1000, 1500 and 1800 are available with standard twin (36 x 76 inches) or extended twin (36 x 80 inches) mattress; two fixed height models (2200 and 2700) are available with a full (54 x 74 inches) mattress. DIMENSIONS: Rail height to floor is 45 inches. Mattress height to floor is 24 inches (models 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2500), or adjusts between 16 and 32 inches (model 1800).
