The ADA Compliant Paver, model 200, is a detectable warning surface designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This paving stone with truncated domes provides visual as well as textural contrast to guide individuals with visual impairments on conventional publicly utilized pavements, sidewalks and other components of the public right of way, including wheelchair curb ramps at street intersections. The unit is made from a concrete mix under extreme pressure and high frequency vibrations, and has a compressive strength greater than 8000 pounds per square inch with a water absorption maximum of 5 percent. Units are installed over a bed of sand with 0.125 inch joints, and where required, may be cut to fit accurately, neatly and without damaged edges. Units come in pallets of 480. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): Each stone 2.375 x 7.8125 x 3.875 inches. WEIGHT: 6.125 pounds.
